Went to Liverpool at the weekend to see some uni mates I haven met up with in ages. Anyway found out my old flatmate was in a band called the alterkicks (i saw them when they first started out) and played at Hartlepool Maritime festival before they broke up.

Heard some of there stuff but was wondering if Salty etc saw them in Hartlepoo. Bit pissed off lost touch with them over past couple of years like.

I remember them. They were out around the time I started to properly get into my music. Very Liverpudlian in sound which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but The Las and The Coral had been there and done it far better before them. I did like them at the time though.
