For reserves in easy 6-1 win.

Brown made sub appearance at the Vic today for reserves scoring within about 30 seconds of coming on and adding a 2nd about 45 seconds later. Two good finishes from about 8-10 yards and probably more to the edge of the box for his second, both good finishes and both with some power.

Bjornnson got 2 Mackay and Larkin other scorers, good turn and finish in box for Larkin to get 6th just before end. Though all 6 were well taken

But the good news is.......

BROWN IS BACK

Great stuff but I really hope this doesn't tempt anyone to rush him back, the bigger picture needs to be looked at here.

Also if he is on the bench on Saturday I hope we don't have people shouting at Turner 'get Browny on' if things aren't going right after half an hour.

Ease him back and we might reap the rewards in the last month or two of the season.

I know it is only a reserve game and we had the extra man.. But it's great to see most of the strikers hitting the net. THAT can only do them the world of good and keep Boyd and Behan on their toes now knowing the strikers are firing..
