my x-box 360 is playing up and not reading the games / dvd's its just keeps saying enter disk. It has no red lights on the front, i was wanting to know if people have any thoughts?

So bloke i know said try a dvd clearner disk on it as might sort it out other thn that ring microsoft. I dont really play on the xbox that much and if its going to cost me I might just flog the thing in its current state.

dvd drive is dead by the sounds of it, what is the manufacture date on the back on the xbox?
