Has been elected president of Uefa. I hope he keeps his promise and revamps the Champions League. What they should do is only have the champions of each country then put them all into a hat and draw them out just like the FA cup, none of these seeded shit to give the so called bigger teams an easier route through. I don't care if it affects their TV revenues or anything.

Just a simple gesture of good faith to start with: They took away the Cup Winners Cup didn't they.
So put all the Cup winners automatically into the Champions league (yes even the Welsh Cup winners). At least that wold give some value back to the currently worthless FA Cup.
It would also mean the poor sods who finish third lose their automatic place. Heartbreaking, but necessary! rage

That would be just the thin end of the wedge by the way.

I also like the Mad John hypothesis which I've expressed myself on more than one occasion. The only problem with it is it only includes three English clubs whereas we perhaps need to unload a few more!
