To the select audience in this forum. Is there anyone amongst you is in a position to offer, or knows of an opportunity, of a job for a willing worker. My eldest lad is looking at the moment, and is getting a little frustrated at his lack of success. He has had four interviews so far this year, but the answer always seems to be the same, they are impressed with his attitude, but his lack of experience means someone else gets the job. He is willing to do any work, but would prefer something 'mental' rather than 'physical'. He would also be available to work a couple of days a week for nothing, to try and get his foot in the door somewhere.

Any ideas?

What is he looking to do?

How old is he?

What qualifications does he have?

Does he have a cv?

Where is he willing to work?

Can he drive?

Does he have a car?

Etc.

What's Garlands? Would they need any temporary staff in the summer? The bairn will be looking for work during the vac and is pretty handy at IT.

OK, thanks, chip. I'll let her know there might be vacancies. She won't be back home till June, but she definitely will need a job then.
