 Post subject: Yellow card when players take their shirt off

Heard a comment on the tv the other day, that the reason FIFA brough this rule in is beacuse when a player scores its when the shirt sponser is most prominent and if someone takes his shirt off obviously the sponser cant be seen.

Does anyone know if this is correct or a load of old pony

Was it not brought in after forlan took his shirt off, and because it was so wet cos of the rain he couldnt get it back on and had to carry on playing without it?

I heard the same thing but I don't know whether it is true.
