2 trains to London = £45 each & £30 for the hotel makes £120 for a footy match that I dont get to see.
Today I accepted that Im not gonna see it & took my ticket into the club shop, apparently Saturday was the deadline for refunds so thats now cost me £140 to not see a game.

Football can feck right off Ive had enough of it.What Charlton have done is the last straw, especially seeing as the original postponement was a lie, there was feck all snow in London that weekend.

Forgot to mention the saturday deadline was Charltons decision, not Pools.
This is not a gripe about Pools but football in general

The email to Charlton has been sent, but I dont hold out much hope, lets face it,a pissed off Hartlepool fan means nothing to them.

This is the email
Quote:
Im hoping you can help me.As a Hartlepool United fan I booked trains & hotels (at a cost of £120) well in advance of January 9th to attend the Charlton v Hartlepool fixture which was postponed.
After unsuccessfully managing to arrange transport to the re-arranged fixture I returned to Hartlepools ticket office today with my original tickets to be told I am too late to claim a refund as yourselves had already recalled all money & tickets from Hartlepool.
The reason I had not returned my tickets before today was because I have been making efforts to travel to London to use the tickets & it was only this afternoon when it was certain that I wouldnt be able to attend as the travel/accomodation expenses were prohibitive at such short notice.
In view of this I would like to ask is it possible to return my tickets by post to yourselves for a refund ?

We'll see what happens, but as I said im not overly optimistic about my chances.
