He could pick eleven names from a hat and tell them to "spread out" and it probably wouldn't be as bad as yesterday............

To be honest my apathy has reached a level that I don't really care about Tuesday night.

I'd go with that, except it would involve Sweeney and Humphreys not being in the starting 11 and such would contravene EU law.

Can we not play West up front and Turner in goal, then just perm any nine players who are dead-ball experts at the club just in case we get a free-kick or corner which involves three extra touches beforehand, to make it look the dogs. Or who can all point at each other as to who they are supposed to be picking up (aka Saturday).

It may go against the grain but I would play Bjornnson, not Behan. Lets see if the early bath on Saturday has given him a kick up the jacksie. Im not certain but Bjornnson probably has a better goals/game ratio too

no way on this planet would Humphreys be dropped.
If Pools signed Rooney, Ronaldo, Kaka and Messi they'd all make way for Humphreys

I think Cooke should play in goal, as for the rest I can't be arsed to think about it at the moment.

Getting back to the original topic, I'd say that only Austin came out of Saturday's match with any credit whatsoever for effort. Gamble is absolved of any blame with it being his debut and his first competitive match for months and the rest of them should hang their heads in total shame and take a long hard look at themselves and resolve to put things right for the supporters and for their own personal pride. But I'd make wholesale changes too, especially in the midfield.

GK Flinders
RB Austin
LB Haslam
CB Collins
CB Liddle
RM McSweeney
LM Fredriksen
CM Gamble
CM Jones
CF Boyd
CF Bjornsson or Behan, neither have convinced me how good or bad they are yet.

Just put people in there natural positions, thats all.

No wingers at right wing, no midfielders at right back, no right backs at left back, no centre mids at right wing, no left winger at some fucking tip of a diamond shape.

You've obviously never seen Cook play.....

Flinders has been a bit shaky lately but he wasn't actually at fault for any of the goals on Saturday, he's a good keeper who's having a dip in form. Hopefully he's only one game away from his form returning no better time tomorrow I suppose.

The first where he dives over the ball, i forget which one but the one where he comes off his line and lets them pass it around him, oh and the one where he gets beaten at his near post.

The guy should go in the army on the front line cos he clearly loves being in no mans land.

He looked a bag on nerves and some of his decision making was poor, and he maybe could done better with the first but he was badly exposed by what was going on in front of him. He wasn't beaten at his near post that shot was from near the middle of the D.

He's our only option in goal so the worst thing that could happen is people to start turning on him. He is suffering a dip in form that's all hopefully.

I hope your right but that was worse than ALB would have done. Im sick of seeing keepers who fail to make a single save all game.

I thought that The Mail said that was UNLIKELY to be the only change?

I can see Turner starting with Humphreys up front tonight. bbolt

After finally mustering enough enthusiasm to even think about it I'd go for;

Flinders

Austin
Collins
Liddle
Haslam

McSweeney
Jones
Rowell
Monkhouse

Larkin
Boyd

Chances of the this team actaully being picked? 0. More energy and balance in the team than Turner will probably pick, I would have selected Gamble and am not judging him at all by Saturday I just think after not playing for three months two games so quickly could be a bit of an ask.
