Hello all.

Well what can I say? It was one of those games where it was hard to decide whether or not it was us being superb, or you being poor.

All I can say is dont be too disheartened. I would say it was our best performance for a long long time. It was one of those one off results, I think we just caught you cold after the big freeze if you'll excuse the pun!

Anyway, it was a great day out in general. Decent ride up in minibus, no probs, arriving just after midday. First stop was Jacksons Wharf to take advantage of the two for one meals! Nice place. Then it was up to the corner flag for some cheap beer and a good atmosphere. Great little supporters bar, top marks!

On to the stadium, not a bad little ground really. I know you didnt have much to sing about, but I thought you'd have made a bit more of an effort!! Bit dissapointed with that. We only had 123, but i reckon we did ourselves proud. What did you think? Had a hotdog at half time. It was bloody huuuuge !! Very nice.

Ended up on a crawl around Newcastle that night. Good times! The birds really do wear fcuk all when its freezing, dont they? !!

All the best for the rest of the season. Be Lucky!

Is there anything more patronising and smarmy then coming on an away fans forum after you've just won there 5-0 saying oh cheers, your ground was small blaw blaw

To be honest bri what do you expect from people on here?

It's like me going to your house, giving your lass one, then ringing you up after to say ey she was bloody good, house was a bit small like, but nice none the less.

Ha Ha Ha!

I came on here before the game and had quite a good discussion about MK Dons and the Wimbledon thing.

I wasn't trying to be patronising. Your ground is compact. Nothing wrong with that, I enjoy visiting stadiums like yours.

I just wanted to say I enjoyed the day out, and the hospitality i experienced was great.

Sour grapes from some people i guess. I can understand that.

I'll leave you to argue amongst yourselves then. Good luck for the rest of the season.

na, sour grapes are reserved for when you dont get what you deserve - we got precisely what we deserved on Saturday, hammered!!

I too, like some others on this thread, dont really like your patronising tone.
Thats all.

one match and Pools fans are accused of lacking in noise... yeah this season it has... but if you've been to the games I have over the years Mr MK fan, let me tell you that there is no better, louder partisan crowd than a Hartlepool crowd in full voice.
Your club will never make some of the rackets Pools fans have done in our long history.

I was having a chuckle at their poor following. Considering they have an average home attendance of over 10,000, less than 150 at an away game is a fooking piss take.

He sounds like Lord Snooty's bastard offspring being condescending to the plebs and all the time walking around with his arse hanging out of the hole in his pants.

You lot are impossible at times. No matter what he said he was going to get the "so you think you're better than us" attitude. The bloke was on here before the game and alot of people actually took on board what he said when he explained why he goes to watch MK Dons.

Put your pet lips away for god sake!
