If so, would the divvies slagging Flinders off like Turner to see if he can get him back to Pools for the rest of the season?

Some interesting points there Mr Fireball.

Especially the insinuation that Flinders and Budtz are comparable. Or even the suggestion that Janice Cockfingers should be described as a goalkeeper.

flinders HAS been shiite lately. I don't see anyone saying otherwise. hopefully it is just a blip. I don't see how those saying so can be called divvies

It is an insult to every current and aspiring goalkeeper worldwide to class ALB in the same group as them.

He is not a goalkeeper, he never was.

flinders has certainly looked less confident, and made a couple of mistakes lately. I would hardly call him shite. Especially when he won us 2 points when he made that save in injury time against oldham.

I've got to admit the first time I saw Alb play was in the first half of a pre season friendly against Newcastle and I was happy with his performance. Then I saw him at the first league game, away to luton, where he did ok, although he did flap a bit. Then he was dropped for Budtz. That would have done nothing for his confidence. He then had to watch the performances of Budtz, wondering probably what he had done wrong.
Flinders obviously had something that Palace liked or they wouldn't have paid the cash that they did for him.
He has put in some good performances with us, and some iffy ones so consistency is what is required. If he is losing confidence the crowd can't be blamed this time, so it must be something else. I wonder what??
