Sky Broadband upgraded my package to the top one as I was downloading too many GBs, your limit on mid is 10gb, I download 11gb and 10.5gb in a month twice in a 6 month period so I have to pay £5 extra.

I should be getting speeds of up to 20gb. I was getting 10gb on mid.

I thought I'd make the most of it and I'm trying to download a 1.1gb fillum. Last time I did this it took about 30 mins. The estimated total time is 3 hours, 10 mins. I have a download speed of 111kb/s.

Is this normal? Shall I get on to them. I am getting a bit pissed off to be honest, it's been as slow as fook since they "upgraded" me.

And just for the record, I started trying to download it at 5pm, at 7.20pm after almost 2 and a half hours and about 45 mins remaining I was disconnected and had to reconnect and start again.

All depends on where your downloading from, doesnt make any difference on your download if the other end only has upload of say 3mb
