If the job was advertised we would be inundated with applications.
Then we would sift out the potential yes men to make up our short list.
Or we would approach previously selected " suitable " people to offer the job to.
Or we would appoint Mr Hartlepool United to the job, with Micky Barron as his assistant.
This is as a result of the policy the owners have of running the club.
As a direct result of that the fans have decided upon a policy for supporting the club which, at the moment, doesn't include turning up at the Vic to watch the current fare dished up by Mr Turner's squad.
I used to criticise the council for their obvious reluctance to do a deal with the club over the ground but, always at the back of my mind, has been the idea that they might indeed be protecting us.

There are always plenty of applicants, but as Derwent says, once those yes men are extracted there is often little choice

The vast majority of managers, like all other workers are yes men though aren't they?

Most of us have to yes to our bosses and peers, regardless if we like it or not

I don't care if our manager is a yes man, as long as he can manage a team and get the best out of them

Turner can't

Forget it. Turners safe, the normal logic of football doesn't apply.

I don't think that CT will be in charge at Pools at the start of next season - I just hope we don't end up going down under his leadership.

easy money at the bookies though innit?Anyone betting against Pools between now and the end of the season to lose every game - obviously that won't happen - but if there's not a killing to be made from that I'll eat my ears!!!
Unless of course the managerial situation changes!!!!
