Submit names for annual tribute
Just days remain for supporters to submit names of those who have passed away over the past 12 months for the annual tribute before Saturday's match against Hartlepool United.

Fans, players and officials from both clubs will combine for a minute-long period of applause prior to kick-off this weekend as all those connected with both clubs who have died in the last year are remembered.

A list of names will appear on the big screen at The Valley, and due to the technical requirements of compiling the list, all submissions must be made by the close of business on Tuesday.

While all of the names that appeared in the Deaths section of the Personals section of the Valley Review in 2009 will automatically be added to the list for the applause, fans can send details of Addicks fans that they wish to be included in the memorial to gill.neville@cafc.co.uk, or call 020-8333 4000.

Good God. Has no-one died this week so they feel to do this in order to get a minute silence in?
