Caught a bit of that when I went to pick the nipper up after swimming club.
His stories about 'Knockout' were excellent. Him and Eddie Waring were obviously just in it for a laugh.
Wonder if he's done a book? sctatchinghead

Stuart Hall is very intelligent - how else could someone reel off such descriptive narrative reporting so soon after the match?
A unique bloke, always laughing - as anyone who knows me, knows how much I like laughing - he's a top man all round!!!!!!

I remember hearing his report on a Wigan V Everton (?? I think) game a few years ago, he started going on about his pre match cup of tea and pie, the only mention of the game was right at the end of his report when he signed off with "Nil-Nillllllllll"

Used to love his banter with Arthur Ellis. "Three points to Blackpool. But thee played the joker. Doubleitup to six."
