Anyone got one, and moreover know how to use one, replacing some skirting boards into a corner, will need to mitre about 6 cuts..................help !!!!

I bought a jigsaw from b and q but have never used it.
Got it to cut laminate but decided carpet was better.
Not sure if its any good for skirting boards.
I'm definitely not a joiner!!
