Seems this is such a contraversial topic, even the French are saying that they shouldn't have won on Wednesday night and that this has brought great shame and dishonour to their country.

Well I think they need gain a bit of perspective FFS it was a handball in a game of football.

What next?? Sent to the Tower for a foul throw? Exiled for persistent fouling.........

But from what I've been reading in the papers, people have been criticising Henry for not doing the right thing and admitting he handled the ball.

It just proves to show people still want teams to be honest in football, which I believe that that should be the case.

He has admitted he handled the ball and even said the game should be replayed, it obviously can't be, unlucky Ireland that's football.

True. Unfortunately, at the moment, FIFA's hands are tied. the only way they could do that is by changing the rules.

I even heard the Irish PM wants to have a word with President Sarkozy at an EU summit to discuss what happened.

I don't know whether you can do that much more. Is it appropriate to bring it up at a European summit?

Never mind all this bollocks, what about poor Andy Hamilton, beat Wade & had a 100% checkout rate & then got eliminated in a 9 dart shootout.
Wade admitted afterwards that it was unfair but thems the rules & now Andy Hamilton has no more business in Wolverhampton.
Its that outrageous our lass had a word with Gillian in the office about it the next morning.
The PDC didnt order a rematch though banghead

Err....I think POK prob meant during the game, straight after the 'goal' - so that it wouldnt have counted. He has been criticised for not doing that...

Just for the record:

If a pools player was put into Henry's position in a vital match to pools, I would personally rip his head off he didnt handle it.

I would also chop his bollocks off with a meat cleaver if he then suggested the game be replayed.

Get over yourselves, those of you up in arms about this. You hollierthanthou lying bastads.

Thierry Henry in handball world shocker. Death to the infidels.

Jesus fookin christ ray.

And as for those saying the game should be replayed................ rolfl rolfl rolfl rolfl

If, and its an enourmous IF, it did get replayed......I will personally set up an action group to get the 2005 league one play off final replayed.

Because we REALLY were cheated by a ref.

For once, I agree in complete fullness
