That just made me homesick, nobody here has sheds- big garages, huge cellars and giant hangars yes, but sheds no. Couldn't afford to bid for Syd's splendid erection but I'm thinking my own Pools tribute shed might impress the neighbours in a non-xenophobic pro-european unity sort of way. Tomorrow morning I'm off to visit Leroy Merlin (French B&Q not a camp magician).

Shouldn't think it made its reserve. If you want it it's in Hills Road, Cambridge, where Syd used to live.

Is Syd Barrat the the bloke who invented the liquorice allsort and is that the shed where he did it. If so it's worth a fortune.

It takes all sorts

Sheds are the 'Alamo's' of a marriage. .... You have to come out eventually, but you put up one hell of a fight before conceding defeat.

Mr borntoulouse:

If it's a shed your after, try Saint Maclou along Route de Bayonne.

They certainly used to have a couple on display last time I was over.

Cheers Mr Allez, I'll have a look. Must admit that with Christmas coming my money will probably be going on plastic crap instead, but a quick look wouldn't do any harm. Didn't realise you still got over here, get in touch if you fancy a few pints and a TFC match.
