Just back from MikeAshley@SportsDirectthingy or whatever it's called and it's fair to say the eleven who started on Saturday can sleep safe in the knowledge that they'll start at Huddersfield....

I felt sorry for Freddy like, thrown in a left back when he'd clearly never played there in his life!

We lost 3-2 by the way OG to put us one up and Billy G made it 2-1. Foley was probably our brightest player, the Ice Man got hooked when we only had two outfield subs!!

It was trying to get a bastard cup of tea at half time I reckon all of the 1,382 in attendance were in the queue!!

Atmosphere wise it was probably akin to watching the Loids play at the Arena.

The game could have gone either way we missed some real chances first half but the goals we conceded were shocking. The first Freddy messed up and the winger got in to slide a ball across the six yard box, the second freddy was probably out of position again and the lad had a free run on goal and the winner you've got to look at the defending and the keeper as the lad headed in unmarked from a corner from all of the three yards.

Plus putting our eleven next to Newcastle's it was probably a poor result in terms of comparative experience. Apart from Peter Lovenkrandts I can't see any of those players getting near a Newcastle first team squad this season whereas six of our players will make up our bench on Saturday and our side had hundreds of first team appearances behind them.
