Carlisle at home on New Year's Day, came on as a sub I believe in the first half.

Everyone was absolutely shocked at how good he was that day!

Our loss, was most certainly your gain. Austin was our best player over the last two seasons, and I'm gutted that we lost him.

Austin is an excellent acquisition and he played really well yesterday. I still wouldn't have made him MotM though - Sam Collins was absolutely immense. He stopped everything that came his way and it took a brilliant save to deny him a goal that he thoroughly deserved. After the stick he took last season from certain sections it is great to see him in such good form at the moment. clappp

When they announced him as MoM, I said that he was definitely our best player, even though we played well all over the pitch. But my youngest Matty said he wouldn't have given him it, as he took chances several times too close to goal, where if he'd lost it we'd have been in trouble. Opinions, wouldn't life be boring without them!!
