Turner moans about us not converting chances, West is now at it after the reserve game at Scunthorpe and Barron was at it after the youth team lost on pens against Macc.
I wonder when Hodcroft will start bemoaning the chances he is giving his management/coaching team.

I honestly don't believe we've been creating that many clear chances. At home to Brentford we lacked quality and created little mainly due to the high number of long balls, the Tranmere game saw us do very little going forward, we took our chances at Brighton and even on Saturday when we had a hell of a lot of the ball we only really created three clear chances (Behan X2 and Liddle) We lack pace and aren't really getting in behind teams, when was the last time a Pools forward was one on one with the keeper? How many penalties have we won this season?

It's strange but at Swindon we got behind the defence time and time again.

Anyone would think Danny Wilson was incapable of assembling a decent defence.

I think it's more down to the way we are playing at home actually and the style of football, and the fact Wilson was probably playing a centre forward at full back because he was excellent at not letting long diagonal balls bounce.

Because at Oldham we got in behind the defence a lot as well. We just seem to be missing that spark at home, forgetting Saturday we are doing alright in general but the home performances have to improve.
