I'm buying our lass a Laptop for Crimbo....I've already got a Wireless Router set up etc....what do I need so she has access to err....Facebook....that's all she goes on!!!! :roll:

They are all wireless now I think. If its only for Facebook get her a Netbook.... cheaper too

most laptops nowadays have built in wireless,it will search for available networks so all you need is your password for your network

You buy one for about £25 and plug it in your laptop. Top it up like a phone once a month. Pay as you go internet. About £10,£15 and £25 a month i think sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

it could also be a usb wireless adaptor which a lot of older laptops needed these picked up your wireless signal and passed it on to your laptop
