Well, to be honest, those guys died so that we could live in freedom. The least they deserve is two minutes of respect.

That's why things like that are still allowed to carry on: because people feel scared to do something.

Disgraceful but not unsurprising. The bigotry in Glasgow is truly pathetic.

I agree with Mutley, that was disgraceful.

The bigotry in Glasgow isn't as bad as it used to be. There are no "traditional" catholic or protestant areas in the city because the old tenement buildings were either knocked down or redeveloped for people who had more money. The social housing schemes which sprang up in their place mixed families together, and over the years there's been a general acceptance.

The only people who get a tough time in Glasgow are those from the south of England. But then they deserve it.

It's only when the Old Firm get together that things go mad. You don't venture into the city centre that night because there will be trouble. And if you're in a bar, you don't talk about football.

And don't forget, a lot of Rangers ad Celtic fans travel from Northern Ireland to see games.
