Chris Turner put a hell of a lot of pressure on himself be beinng blatenly thick. Why didn't Jones start, Antony Sweeney will never ever make a central midfielder for a professional football club. it is no coincidence that when Sweeney plays we usually get beat - he is STILL living off a lucky season about 5 years ago.

Why was Monkhouse switched onto the right, he has scored goals and played ok on the left all season so why are we adapting tactics for a non league team? I know Larkin did ok but changing tactics for a non league team is a joke. Turner you fannied on for the sake of it and smoothered yourself in pressure for no reason.

And where was the fight? No one was prepared to take responibility and get stuck in or have a shot of note (except hartley). The players and management have got to have a serious look at themselves, there was not enough desire to win on that pitch from Pools players yesterday and if there isn't a significant improvement next week it won't be long before crowds dp below 2500.

In my opinion Foley would of been a better option than what we employed at least the lad gets stuck in and wants it, Boyd needs a big boot up his arse, Behan needs a rest to refresh, the midfield is in desperate need of a Willie Boland type player to crunch in a tackle or two to get team mates and the crowd going. If we are gonna get beat of a non league team I expect to see some fight, all in all embarrassing....!!

EDIT - I will add that I think we have had a decent start to the league campaign - the fa cup gave us the perfect opportunity to build on that, but I just don't understand Turners logic - I really don't....
