Talking to one of their players in the lounge afterwards it was interesting to hear things from their perspective. After having us watched at home and from Mark Coopers experience, this player ( cant think of his name, nick summat) also telephoned DW as he knew him from his Barnsley days and the message the players were told was clear and consistent.
(remember this is him not me)

keep it tight for the first 10-15 minutes and the crowd will turn on them, and to be fair it worked as you got on their backs straight away, half time the gaffer just told us to do the same and let the crowd help us out, the more we could frustrate the crowd the more the crowd would turn, we were full of confidence as we also trained on a sand based pitch exactly the same as yours which helped...

sadx

I'm sick and tired about hearing this one. I'm not doubting what you are saying is true but it's about time our own players gave us something to shout about, the reason people get frustrated and get on peoples back is becuase what we are watching just quite simply isn't good enough. Yesterday should serve as a timely kick up the arse to people in comfort zones. I've seen one good game at the Vic this season- Burnley in the Carling Cup, that aside it's been the worst football in about 12 years.
