I cannot access my help & support menu any more. Any ideas?

That's great, but not the thingy i want. On the start up menu there is a help & support page that has bits like system restore on other thingy's. That's the thing i want, but it won't display.

PS i'm not very techy minded, as you may have guessed

Seriously, assuming you have your windows xp CD available do the following:


browse to C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf

right click and select 'install'

Follow instructions to reinstall help and support.

One other thing, if you can't see the c:\windows\inf folder its because its a hidden folder.

Go to Start / Run and type in 'control folders'

Click the view tab

Look for 'Show hidden files and folders' and uncheck

"Hide extensions for known file types".
Just above that click 'show hidden files and folders'

You probably need to clear out your virtual cesspit, it'll be full of black and white claggy poo.
