The table certainly looks a lot better after that result. We need to start showing a bit of consistency not relying on the ocasional great result.

I wonder if Jones was the difference today? Im sure it certainly helped us having 11 men today as opposed to 10

I have it on good authority that Ritchie Jones was outstanding today, as was Monky and Boyd.

Let's hope they bring it on home for Saturday and we gub Tranmere.

Well done CT and the boys, the slagging they've taken from this (and two other) messageboards during the past week has been way O.T.T., from people (on here) who really ought to know better.

Next time we have a slight setback, i.e. losing an Away game then only drawing at home, can we please cut the team we support, and it's Manager, some slack?

clappp

Will the singing section be back in place on Saturday?

With it we beat Walsall, without it we lost to Grimsby and drew with Brentford, no brainer surely!!

Thing is, we have some very winnable games coming up.
A little bit more belief that we have the makings of a decent side, and we'll be well on our way to a comfy mid-table berth. Then onwards and upwards! rolf

Three wins out of four away to Swindon.

We haven't beaten them at home in the last four attempts though. 3 draws 1 defeat.

What no one seems to have mentioned is, we perform away from home and fail at home. Could it be anything to do with the dire atmosphere at home, the fans do have a part to play as well. The only people making a sound are the small irritating knot of vitriolic scribblers who appear to be working shifts slagging off Turner... so good of the Mail to accomodate them and funny how two letters never appear together but are spaced out so we can have a daily dose of their depressing thoughts.

Well said Elvis clappp

We were all disappointed after those two home performances but to call for the Managers head is a tad premature imho....

Great result for you boys this week. Hope you get some home form for Tranmere to help us move above them.

i certainly think that is a large part of it.

What i will say though, is our team looks perfect for away games.....keep it tight and look to nick a goal.

When we need a little bit more nous at home we seem to be lacking. The fans holding their tongue at times and being patient would help massively at home

I dunno if thats aimed at me as i dont think iv been o.t.t for a while but most of my frustration has been at his team selection and tactics of the long ball. However today he finally got the line up right and let us play with 11 men. If he picks the best available side (ie today) then il have very few complaints even if we get beat.

I'm agreeing with chip the home performances have got nothing to do with the atmosphere, well they have, it's been flat because football at times has been poor.

It's a two way thing if we start playing to our potential the crowd well respond.

We have won 3 of our last 18 home games in all competitions, that's not the people who turn up and pay good money's fault is it?

Well said Mr BP.

Does anybody on here know if anything is being done to organise it?
