I see he's had £105,000 in expenses paid into a company jointly owned by himself and his partner.
In the real world people manipulating the expense system usually get fired and, in some cases, prosecuted.

And anyway, he told the authorities what he was doing at the time - and they were happy with what he was doing.

if the people prosecuting, i.e. the police, and the people making the laws, i.e. the politicians, are doing this as they always have (and will continue to do so - this is all a publicity stunt, they'll keep the cash in another way - believe it) and they are all pissing in the same pot (freemason's brigade) then there's not a lot we can do about it.
Who is going to whistle blow when they get offered an incentive to keep quiet? Even if that incentive is to keep their job!!!
