I reckon we will see Pools line up something like this;

Flinders

Austin
Liddle
Collins
Hartley

Brown
Humphreys
Sweeney
Monkhouse

Behan
Boyd

I really hope he doesnt play Sweeney. Fredrikkson apparently played well for the ressies the other night. Surely he deserves a go.

Freddy is a left winger who has played in that position for his entire career, he shouldn't play anywhere else.

Maybe...but a lot of us want to see Ritchie playing there tommorrow and he isnt really a central midfielder. Freddy looks quite comfortable in the middle from what I have seen

After seeing freddy in the reserves i'd drop monkhouse, also drop sweeney and play rowell, drop mcsweeney and play brown and swap behan for the iceman.

well you clearly lack eyes. i have been to most of the games this season and have seen every player in the squad have a very good game at some point. exept mister sweeney.

Sweeney hasn't got into the game every time I've seen him this season, the last half an hour at Oldham apart. He's probably fortunate to keep his place. It's hardly making him a scape goat though it's just stating he hasn't played well.

He hasnt really been made a scapegoat but its obvious (to 99%) of people that he has been poor so far this season. Im surprised that you can say that he has been one of our better players, its a pretty damning verdict of our team

He should be played at either right back or right midfield (if we are desperate) he has shown time after time that he isn't good enough to play central midfield.....

He has been nowhere near the player we saw against Millwall last season, where he was outstanding. However if we are going to play with 2 big centre forwards today then we need midfielders willing to make runs beyond the strikers and he is the only midfielder who does that. So i wouldn't be surprised if he keeps his place and Jones is dropped.

you could have leave out either (even though I'm a Jones and a Sweeney fan), but I suppose CT thinks we're more likely to get a goal out of Sweeney.
