Crossfire!

Me brother-in-law bought an old one off ebay for me nephew and it's still superb. Your fingers still knack when a steelie hits them as well.

We got one at one point called "Go for Broke" where the idea was to lose a million. As you advanced round the board you could lose or gain money by things like putting up prize money for a round Switzerland yacht race, going gambling in a casino, and the like. Made a change from Monopoly....

My favourite boardgame was always 'Redundo Round' where me and the other directors sat around a table after everyone had gone home and decided who wouldn't have a job no more.

Strangely, it was always the gobby ones who did little or nowt but tell us how to run the job. The ones with the nicest tits always seemed to survive like......................

(Ducks and runs from torrent of abuse and missiles from PP and pther trade union stalwarts....)

That may well have been said as a joke, or have been entirely serious, but I'm sure a lot of downsizing has been carried on like that. During one similar exercise, at my previous place of work, a senior manager was among the ones to go. We always reckoned it was because he signed his name at the bottom of the list of chosen ones, and they assumed he was volunteering himself for early retirement rolfl
