Shot by Alan Sheehan. Scott Flinders makes a fantastic save".

Long time since I read of a Pools' keeper making a FANTASTIC save.

I suppose you read the BBC site while Bob was watching the match, So you should be able to tell him that

was it Chip who had heard from his Palace mate(s) that flinders was dodgey when we signed him?

I have no doubt he needed a new environment to get his career back on track and he certainly seems to have done that. I would love to know if Brill was CTs first choice but then turned us down to go to Oldham instead

He didn't look great against Oldham, dropping several crosses, but is definately an improvement on the two from last year. He can only get better as his confidence grows and he gets regular first team.
