Lucky you, I spent the whole weekend up to my knees in mud last year. The line up was far better this year too.

He was pretty good Davey. The set was a bit more bluesy than psychedelic which is what I was expecting. He got a fantastic reception from the crowd.

Not quite obscure enough, but amazingly good!

I already knew that they are amazingly good. Just thought i'd share it with the folk on The Bunker.

I was stood with a group of friends, many who had not heard much by Wilco. Each and every one blown away by that performance.

They were far and away the best band at the festival (that I saw anyway)

Rodriguez is the one that stands out for me.
His album (Cold Fact) is probably the best Bob Dylan album that Bob never made & the best 60s album of the 70s if you get my drift.

Last time I saw Wilco was a Glastonbury and I took a couple of first timers with me. They were completely blown away and started buying up the back catatlogue when they got home, watching for local gigs etc. I reckon Wilco are like that, you either adore them or they pass you by. Yankee Foxtrot Hotel is one of my favourite albums.

I'm guessing that's EIEIO, Mr Dead, but I can't see Youtube here. I get large chunks of the Bunker which are just empty space when people post Youtubve thingys. sadx

Spot on that Elvis. I'll be checking them out.

YHF is also my favourite Wilco album. Superb from start to finish!

It is Kev!!

Glad you've heard of them, they were just amazing. One of those bands that deserved better than their fate, it's a stunning album which I still play a lot now.

I'd forgotten about them but I'll be trying to nick that from somewhere then. I know people disapprove of such actions but it's simply not available here unless it's Brittany Spears, The Eagles, or some whimpering quavery voiced 'RnB' warbler.

Now I have walked long long way
I still look back to my Tanglewood days
I've lead a lotta girls since then to stray
But there ain't nobody that can sing like me.

It's me favourite verse.

If you use a cheese grater on your feet, make sure you wash it before it gets used in the kitchen. Good advice - FACT
