As well as Bolt's achievements, what a bum-fest in Berlin. The best collection of female backsides I've seen since the last beach volleyball match between Brazil and Brazil reserves. West Indian sprinters, Rusian pole-vaulter, British heptathlete ... I need a cold shower.
On a more serious note, what refreshing interviews they all give compared to Premiershit "superstars".

I think the athletes are able to string a sensible sentence or two together & usually seem more intelligent (exc. Dwain 'I'm still on summat' Chambers, allegedly), unlike most of the overpaid jokers in the premiershiiiite.

Oops, think I have just said exactly what Mr Bamboo said - need to think for myself refyellow

Better than being a crack-head, an ASBO-teen or addicted to shitty computer games.

doesnt a lot of atheletes start out as runners, high jumpers etc and then the scouts see potential in other things such as triple jump, pole vault etc

This kind of normal kid:

Should be a fair few youngsters inspired to want to take part after what Bolt did Sunday night.

Apparantly, a lot of young athletes start out usually doing a couple of sports recreationally before concentrating on their athletics.

There is a programme being launched trying to encourage runners to take up triathlon, and also to encourage youngsters who play football, basketball, tennis etc to switch to athletics.

Athletics is quite a romantic sport, actually.... the idea of man having limitless boundaries, nothing is impossible etc.

It's because athletes think like that that you get things like 9.58secs from Usain Bolt.

Athletics romantic? Is that because places like Olympic villages are alleged to be one big shag factory? I bet it's like one of those ponds full of mating frogs.

Interesting case of South African 800m runner Caster Semenya.

Is she female? is he male?

Well lets have a look at the first 5 letters of the surname sctatchinghead

Also one BBc reporter has just said 'she' has slashed her 'personal best' in the heats sctatchinghead

Gives it away a bit

It's a shame really, that we can't just stand back and admire what Bolt did in that race on Sunday in Berlin without thinking: Was that performance really produced by the power and speed of the man? Was he drug-free when he ran?

look at this video and say "she" isnt a man or been on a crash course of drugs:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/athletics/8210471.stm

Also I cant see why "IAAF spokesman Nick Davies said the "extremely complex, difficult" test results were not due for several weeks"

7 weeks that test would only take at longest 1 day, all you need is blood or urine and the DNA, PCR reaction as I said would at most take 8-14hours

If he/she is a bloke, he/she has a very little todger, unless he/she has it tucked up underneath, but then it should fall free while running, wouldn't you think?
Mine did ... oh, bugger, didn't mean to mention that bit.
