Did I hear right? Did they announce Sweeney was man of the match?

Maybe I was at a different game. The centre midfield wasn't any good until Brown came on (either a coincidence or the move had an effect) and that was just a few good touches by Fredrikson. Sweeney had one good shot, apart from that I didn't notice him. Beehan had 3 shots and a much better game than Sweeney. I'm surprised they didn't give the MOM to Ritchie Humphries! Even that would have made more sense!

By the way just when Fredrikson decided to show his class he was substituted!

Charlton were simply a better team than us and it didn't help gifting goals. We weren't rubbish though and the signs are (when we get team selection right) we will do better than last season.
