As you will know MK Dongs ground is in Bletchley but on the way there is a cracking boozer a few mile out on a lake in Caldecotte, you cant miss it its got a big windermill on the top and a travellodge next to it.Or you could have a drink in the Pink Punter in Bletchley, you would be made to feel more than welcome

I checked last night: The main pub near the ground is called "The Enigma Tavern" on Princes Way because it's near to Bletchley Park, where they cracked all the Nazis codes during the war.

Apparantly, there's a Caldicotte Arms in Caldicotte, which looking at the satellite photo is a very green area near a big lake...

...But that Pink Punters nightclub isn't too far from Bletchley itself.

Well, MK is hardly my neck of the woods as it's in Buckinghamshire and I'm in Kent, but's it's near enough for me to get to from London by train in an hour.

But I'll be there nevertheless.

Enigma Tavern is a decent enough boozer

Eight Belles even better round the corner and not far from train station

Generally the pubs are shit though!

I have had a look on google and it seems the nearest boozer is a place called the beacon. look s like it could only be a 5 minute walk.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?sourceid= ... a=N&tab=wl

so where are the majority going to go?

The Beacon is a dive- Don't go there. Enigma Tavern or Eight Belles is probably best bet but it's a taxi journey away or a half hour walk. Probably about 5-6 quid in a taxi at a guess. There's a Burger King next to The Enigma for you fat twats too!

http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/ ... /Bletchley

That's cheaper than the Belles, think it's about £2.80 in there.

If OK = 'A horrible shit hole' then I'd agree with you there

also the beacon is part of the same pub group (spirit) i work for on a night as a second job, granted the pub I work in is a 2-4-1 like the merry go round, so I possibly might get a discount.

Even if the beer was free I wouldn't go there. It's flat, your feet stick to The floor and the regulars are all scum. We tried to get a taxi from there last year and two companies refused to pick us up from there so make your own mind up based on that!
