Here we go, the whole point of the bunker is to have an opinion, let people have a say without your stupid insults.

precisely, it is not here for people to try and wind others up excessively by having over the top, ridiculously negative opinions.

Ripper - is is the level of debate a bit too advanced for you? If not then why not give your opinions...?

I don't think asking for some sort of annoucement is too much to ask for. It's not overly negative to want to know what is going on. Even if they say he's still Director of Sport but will be in charge of team matters for the time being, at least it would be something.

It's a strange 'un, alright.

And if it's not a bit forward of me to say so, I think Mr Ripper's been a tad harsh on this thread. Whenever we sign anyone, the website refers to Turner as the Director of Sport. Surely they don't think we'll not notice this and that we'll not question why he or (preferably) someone else has not been named as manager?

This thread sums up the bunker so aptly. People express opinions and get slagged off for it.

To add my 2 penneth worth, having a manager 'appointed' IS important. If I was a player and visited pools, met some bloke who was doing the job on a temp basis and I was offered a contract I would think twice if it could mean that a matter of weeks later some horrible twat like Graeme Souness could take over (I just plucked his name out of thin air!). A player will want to know who his boss is when he signs a contract.

Another good thread ruined. How on earth has anyone been moaning or being negative here????

Personally Id rather be in a job where i know exactly what my position is and whether its temporary or not. It would mean I could work better and concentrate on the job in hand more.

Asking for clarification by the club is not asking too much or being negative banghead

I've heard that Graeme Souness is going to be Pools next manager but I can't reveal my sources. :coool:

No this topic is fine, my comment was aimed at the bloke who commented on the Bunker as a whole, rather than the thread.

Lawrence is not a source.

He's a mad transvestite who should not be listened to.
