Was watching the cricket yesterday and saw a load of people supporting India who were English, same at Uni a girl was from Bradford and I never understood why she supported Pakistan when the played England, if my mam or dad was american or australian etc I wouldnt support them against the country of my birth and were I was raised.

Maybe it is their second team..................being generous.

Thinking about it I'd support India against Australia, Pakistan, Scotland and possibly the Irish.

apart from that though it does make the atmosphere class and without them the stadiums would be half empty

Brit-Asians tend to support England unless they are playing the country where their parents/grandparents were born.

Nasser Hussain once admitted he supported England as a youngster unless it was against India.

I've yet to meet an asian who considers himself or herself 'English'. British yes but not English. The word 'English' is typically used by Asians in reference to white British people.

.... those stray superfluous letters are because our revised desk layout has been embellished with a stunning contemporary flower display purchased in Cowes by my good lady wife which has reduced using the keyboard to the level of a Japanese sniper trying to shoot in the rain forest. It'll have to have an 'accident'
p.s ...I couldn't possibly have a tattoo on my arm.

I've always thought all Sailors had tattoos. Another misconception debunked by Snowy.

I had a very good mate in Paris who was the most avid England rugby and cricket supporter I've ever know. Sandeep was his name.

When I was asked to hold the tiger cub, I was told its claws weren't developed ... liars... and you said you wouldn't look.
