I hate to imagine what it was like in the plane, they were over 30,000ft crusing so even if the plane lost all control your gonna have a few minutes of failing to earth.
Actually the plane would rip itself apart long before you ever reach the sea, sad loss of life.

I worked with Arthur some time ago in Aberdeen and knew him well. It is a tragedy really, especially the way he ended up on that particular flight. After working in the oil and gas game for 30 odd years I can honestly say he was one of life's REAL GENTLEMEN.
