Steve Gibson on the Championship,

"We hate the Championship, we don't want to be here," he said. "We are a Premier League club, we are a Premier League town with Premier League supporters.

Middlesbrough a Premier Town dont make me laugh the only Premier thing about the place is the amount of hookers, smack-heads and knocked up teens.

I find his description of 'Boro fan's being Premiership fan's funnier than him describing the town as a Premier town.

I know half of them cant be bothered to turn up, have no "real" rivals and are a very nicey-nicey club. There fans also have very short memories when it comes to the lower divisions and pools.

You're on the ball today MJ!

The commentator on Sunday said they had 15 players on at least £50,000 a week. Frightening.

We had friends up this weekend and he said he read an article in some paper the other week that said Newcastle had the 4th or 5th highest wage bill Premiership, it was something like £65 million per year

Not forgetting Xixco (I think that's how you spell it ) the Spanish under 21 international who is on £60k a week and a SIX YEAR contract.

He only has to like it for one season then he will be out of it.

I wonder if he will like it here, in league one?
Alternatively if that is not to his liking he can always wind the club up.

If the lower leagues are beneath his dignity its simple "PISS off"

Talking to some of the Hartlepool mugs fans there are only 2 people to blame for the relegation, Ashley and Steve Harper, the claim that if Ashley hadn't cashed in on Given they would still be in the Premier League.

They want to try a season with the likes of ALB in goal then they will know about crap keepers.

Really-

Excuses, excuses, excuses.
And Yes, they should try playing without a goalkeeper as we had to.

There could have been few teams who had goalkeepers who played out of position, but we had two.

Newcastle had too many players on their books and most of them didn't give a fook. Of course taking on that poison dwarf called Wise didn't help either.
