You only have to go into Newcastle to see how passionate their fans are" and that was it. He'd turned a question about Pools into a programme section about Sandcastle.

Newcastle has cornered the market in selling itself as the great untapped football resource waiting to be fired into life and take the Premiership by storm. Sadly, the drawback with this plan is that they haven't.. therefore the black and white foot soldiers and assorted mercenaries act as cover for their not just under achieveing, but never achieving team. They'd turn up at St james to see Shearers dog crap. like Spike on the Tom and Jerry cartoons jumping up the tree, they act out of instinct and jump when ordered to, it's bred into them. They're not passionate, just thick.
