If Pools don't register another point this season, does anyone reckon goal difference might prevent us going down? We'd be very unlucky to get relegated on 50 points and a worse goal difference than another team on 50 points.

swindon and northampton have a better goal difference than us so i think it could still be a possibility

You do know that if we lose our last two games our goal difference will suffer?

That's bound to be construed as an admission that WE MIGHT IN FACT NOT WIN OUR TWO REMAINING GAMES.

my view is that playing a club like Leeds might work in our favour. The players will be right up for that one, and I think with today's win we can go on and beat Leeds and guarantee safety. We are good enough when we are on our game and the players will bust a gut in our last home match of the season

What makes you think that? Because they've consistently shown they're up for it?
