It has been suggested on here that The Wire is "The best telly programme ever - FACT"
Tomorrow night it starts on BBC2 & is on 5 nights a week.

I will be tuning in to see if it is as good as Lost & will report back at the end of the week.

comparing lost with the wire, is a bit like comparing the x factor contestants with mozart.

imho.

So is The Wire the X Factor contestants and is Lost Mozart, or is it the other way around Image

if you give it time, like mad john says, you will be hugely rewarded.

quite simply the best tv show ever made.

lost looks like a shiit amateur dramatic society musical by comparison fensoir.

I'm half way through the second series at the moment, it just gets better and better.

i actually thought series 2 was the weakest of the 5.

it was about halfway through series 4 i realised it was better than anything i had ever seen.

ive seen all 5 series 3 times now, and will probably watch the whole lot again on bbc2.

I'm liking it, I feel so familiar with the characters now that it really is just a joy to watch. I'm looking forward to watching the next 3 series.

I started watching The Wire last night but after 20 minutes I couldn't be arsed any more. Image
One cop series I did stumble across that I thought was excellent is Spiral - and that's from someone who normally detests French cop shows. It's odd that I never knew it in France. Maybe it's brand new.

I've watched bits and bobs of it this week - its good.
the problem is the Mrs wants her sexual desires seen to at around that time, so I only see the odd glimpse of it from between her arse cheeks....
