Did you manage to book any folkies in the end, Groovy?

Went to see J Renbourn and Robin Williamson at South Shields last night...bit disappointing in that Renbourn sang hardly anything at all...... I was hoping he'd do lots of oldies.
Tell you what, though, that stretch of the River, by the Custom House is brilliant, esp last night in the proverbial Tyne fog.

Im afraid theres nothing in the way of folk right now as we're concentrating on trying to attract the type of crowd who empty their pockets over the bar at present.
Im sure there will be folk acts on again in the near future,we just have to be mercenary for a few month to boost the bank balance Im afraid.
