I'm not looking forward to getting on that budgie next week. :shock: sadx To think of all the times I've spent on them Super Puma's ... We're using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikorsky_S-92 although there was one of these went down in Canada not so long ago (6 weeks ago)..

All I can say is even though I didn't know any of those lads personally ...

Don't worry about flying in the choppers my mate works for Bond in Aberdeen and they have strict maintenance programs. For a helicopter to crash on a perfectly calm day IMO it must of been one of two problems, hydraulic failure or a bird strike and in my 28 years of fixing choppers I have only seen 3 total hydraulic failures. Bird strikes do happen more often but not normally with such dramatic consequences.
