Even John Borthwick and his 50p shaped toecaps

Come back please. You weren't gifted to a world class level but you had guts and passion. I'd rather be in division 4 with lads like those that these gutless arseholes that the people proport to be Hartlepool United players today.

[ I do not include Joel Porter or Ben Clark in this rant, Joel in particular has carried this team all season]

When it comes to our away form I'd include them all in the rant. Joel has carried us and won us games at home, away he's been a bit of a waste of time like the rest of them.

Joels effort at times is simply unacceptable. As you say it is usually the away games but occasionally its obvious in the homes games too that he is 'not in the mood'.
Talented player but sometimes you need more to you than that

Aye but more often than not he has been in the mood.

I wouldn't go that far, you've got to remember that he's played most the season with tendinitis. 18 goals is a fine return, had he worked his magic more away he'd be up there with Beckford in the scoring charts.

Our away form can only be a mental thing with the players, a lack of strength and togetherness, losing away has almost become acceptable to them.

As I've said in another thread, if there's one recent player we miss it's Trigger Clarke. And not particularly for his on-the-pitch efforts.
Being army men I'm sure Mr I et al will know what I'm on about.
