Can anyone remember when the half time break was extended from 10 to 15 minutes? I see from that article they are thinking about extending it to 20 minutes now. Good for advertising in the live TV matches  , but not so good for players muscles, or us fans waiting in the cold for an extra 5 minutes waiting for the second half to get underway!

for what offence surely this would cause more confusion, and isnt really a punishment to fit any crime really. Also how would this work with suspensions etc if you get five a season = 1 match ban

sin bins are a magic idea. a little bit of mouthing off or someone who is persistantly fouling a nice 10 mins in the sin bin to sort their heads out. if they carry on then its a yellow. its either that or instead of 2 yellows = a red it should be 3 yellows

how about when a player has to go off with an injury the one who has fouled him gets sin binned,so it evens the teams up especially when its us and the stupid ref waits five minutes before he lets them back on after being injured
