Interesting debate last night.
The Derby fans were singing to Ronaldo last week (you should have died in the tunnel) when he crashed a while back and there was a few of the lads said they should be banned from games for sing that but were do you draw the line.
Football will become so sterile and not to good to go to with all these rules and regulations.

For me, songs and chants like that do cross the line. Recently away fans at Chelsea games were doing a song about Frank Lampard's mum. I'm all for songs and banter that take the p*ss out of the opposition but these are out of order.

But do you think they should be banned for 3 years for getting caught up in the moment.

Had he have died in the tunnel I would have opened a bottle of Moet. I truly hate the twat.

3 years is a bit harsh. Some kind of ban should apply though - say 3 months.

That's fooking disgraceful, anyone joining in with a chant like that doesn't belong in a football ground.

We are moving in a dangerous areas with people starting to get into trouble for what they chant in a football ground. The level of hatred towards top level players is getting worse though, with the bigger salaries they earn. But seriously to chant about lad's late mother is despicable however much money he earns that is truly a line crossed, who's fans was it out of interest?

I found it funny that someone shouted at Gavin Strachan during a match - "Gavin your blog is shite!!" and also that he runs like a girl, which is true.
