The Scarlet Pimpernel came from nowhere to hammer the opposition with 58 posts in a couple of hours. Mr I in second place with 30, most of which were about the rebuilt site, Parmo puts up an impressively sad top three score as did the bored oil rigger.

No sign yet of PK or Dibble but they'll be along shortly.

Any news on the tri-partite meeting to reconcile North Korea's differences with South Korea and Vietnam?? I believe the Australians were trying to broker a deal?

The word "pile" comes from the Latin word "pila" meaning ball.

Haemorrhoids is from Middle English emoroides, hemorrhoids, from Old French emoroides, from Latin haemorrhoidae, from Greek haimorrhoïdes, pl. of haimorrhoïs, from haimorrhoos, flowing with blood : haimo-, hemo- + rhein, to flow.

Ta. :(

Is this the Fletcher Memorial Home for incurable Tyrants and Kings then?

Just look out for the group of anonymous South American meat-packing glitterati, they're a colourful bunch.

Me and Louise have an arrangement. I sort out the message board and she promises to reveal whether or not she is actually female. I have my suspicions that she is a 16st corker/burner but you've got to cover your bases just in case.

NB: A corker/burner was a trade in the shipyards. Basically they burnt the sheet metal to make it ready for welding and did something else to make sure the bits were waterproof.
