Supposedly we are now in a position where our prisons are getting overcrowded & costing the taxpayer too much so heres a thought.
Nominate half our prisons to be ran as ordinary prisons where the likes of John Darwin & others who have committed dishonest style crimes serve their time.
The other half make it 8 to a cell,no leisure facilities,basic food & drink facilities & make it absolutely clear to the general public that if you are going to commit violent crimes then you will go to a very harsh prison.

problem is that the government would rather have floating prisions that use common sence
