Here's a quote from the match report of Saturday in the Daily Mirror today about Baby David

Despite being 5ft 4 inches and weighing 8 and a half stone he is a gusty battler and ADORED by fans'at Victoria Park.

Now in the 76th minute of the game on Saturday, I would have gladly had Foley's children, but I think adored is a little bit far fetched.

I adore David Foley.

I'm a football fan you see and we do two faced well, my opinions can be as short term and fickle as you want because I'm a football fan. Granted as he advanced with the ball I was screaming "pass it to Jones you little shite" but ever since that ball left his right foot I've always said I adore the lad. I think he might even score a league goal before his 100th appearance such is my faith in the boy.

He did. In 1963. Check it out.
