Is it possible that IOR have just got sick of propping up a club when they cant buy the ground & this is the beginning the end ?
Its no secret that IOR have been trying to buy the ground for years & our council wont sell it so maybe IOR have now given up & our council are happy to see us fall back into the old struggling for survival days.
If we lose IOR then I for one will lay the blame with our council & hope that the rest of Hartlepool do too & vote the feckers out.

There is undoubtedly nowhere near the air of optimism & ambition of 2 years ago these days.

Or they think that they will be buying the ground in the new year, and want a new manager in to spend the increased investment?

Probably neither yours or mine, but somewhere in the middle - and IOR think we need a change to freshen things up.

I was thinking along the same lines as you Tony, just hope it's wrong, whilst I hate the way IOR treat the fans they are still the best thing to ever happen at Pools and I would be gutted and very worried if they up and left.

I fail to grasp exactly what the problem is, either it's a yes or it's a no, it aint rocket science. This has dragged on for far too long and will surely lead to any investor saying why bother. Obviously there'll be sticking points over different points, but they are negotiating the sale of a football ground, not re-drawing the map of Europe post war, which incidentally took a lot less time.

What like the bit that says they are happy with our league position and they are happy with Danny Wilson's performance so far this season.

Things change very fast in football and with Pools the only certain thing is that we the fans will not find out until after it has happened.

Perhaps they should tell us before it happens, whatever it may be.....?

I've no doubt they were also happy with Neale Cooper's performance so far THAT season.
Wilson's deperture has nowt to do with results, league position, or playing style.

As for the ground purchase why do people assume it is only the council being the chewy ones?
